Who is Cowgirl Clue?

Cowgirl Clue is the stage name of Texas-born musician, producer, and visual artist Ashley Clue, known for her blend of electronic pop, rave, country, and punk influences. A longtime member of the Vada Vada collective, she has built a distinctive aesthetic around whimsical visuals and her genre-bending "y'allternative" sound. She is also known for her relationship with Wyatt Shears of The Garden, who performs solo as Enjoy and has collaborated with Cowgirl Clue throughout her career.

Total Freedom

Total Freedom is Cowgirl Clue's third album. It is a colorful, chaotic take on electronic pop, blending dreamy synths, dance beats, and punk-inspired energy into a distinctly Vada Vada sound. Across the album, playful production and surreal melodies create an atmosphere that feels both carefree and unpredictable. It's an unapologetically weird celebration of individuality, self-expression, and, as the title suggests, total freedom.
